Description
Introduced in 1963, the Porsche 911 was hailed as a luxury sport car that was a restyled, larger and more comfortable replacement for the Porsche 356. In 1967, Porsche introduced the more powerful 911 with the distinctive 5-leaf design alloy wheels. The 911 is most notable for having a rear engine and being air-cooled. In 1999, this model came in fifth in an international poll determining the Car of the Century.
