Only 3 times in the long history of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing the Indianapolis 500, has there been a Ford Mustang acting as the official pace car 1964, 1979, and 1994. Each of these years Ford capitalized on this event by building replicas, and this time is doing so in a very limited edition of 1,000.
