In lieu of the original platform’s aluminum semi-monocoque structure, the re-creation is based on the tubular steel frame of a production 308 GT4. Unpainted body panels include a fiberglass nose, rear section, rear side panels, and doors positioned over riveted aluminum outer and inner sills, front wheel wells, and bulkhead panels. An aluminum roof panel is clamped in place. The chassis and body are mounted on a rolling dolly.
