The 15″ chrome wheels are mounted with older Mesa A/P2 tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs and power steering. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders were replaced in approximately 2018, and an extra leaf spring was added to each rear stack in 2022.
