Akront alloy 19″ rims are laced to finned drum-brake hubs with black-finished spokes and are mounted with 3.00″ Hwa Fong tires. An inverted telescopic fork was introduced on Airone models beginning in 1947, and this example also features a triangulated swingarm mounted with friction dampers that are aided by concealed springs located below and behind the engine.
