Green-painted 17″ wood-spoke wheels feature red rims and Auburn-branded hubcaps. They are mounted with Firestone bias-ply whitewall tires. A matching steel rim with a Lincoln bias-ply whitewall tire is mounted out back. The 8-100 rode on a 127″ wheelbase and featured solid axles and front and rear semi-elliptical leaf springs. Stopping is handled by Steeldraulic drum brakes at each corner.
