Yellow 17″ wire wheels are attached with knock-off center hubs and wear 5.25-5.50-17 Firestone Studded Ground Grip four-ply tires at the rear and 5.25-5.50-17 Firestone Deluxe Champion six-ply tires on the front. The chassis features friction shocks and transverse leaf springs front and rear, and braking is managed by a hand lever activating rear drums. The front wheels pivot on kingpins, and the exposed steering linkage and the front suspension links are finished in chrome.
