This hydroplane’s designer, Ted Jones, was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2003. The planning-style hull measures 22′ long and 8′ 10″ wide and is constructed of Honduran mahogany over oak framing. It has a varnished foredeck, blue trim, a red engine cover, and a vertical fin painted in red and orange. The vessel was restored in the 1990s by Marshall Mathews of Palo Alto, California.
