Factory 17″ alloy wheels wear 275/60 Hankook Ventus ST tires, and a spare wheel and tire are mounted under the bed. The Lightning is equipped with the Handling Package suspension with a lower ride height when compared with standard F-series pickups, and this example is also fitted with a rear anti-lock brake system and trailer towing package. The brake system was overhauled in August 2020, which included replacement of the master cylinder, front brake calipers, front pads, and wheel cylinders, and the rear drums were turned at the same time.
