16″ front and 18″ rear Halibrand knock-off wheels were custom ordered for the build and are wrapped in Excelsior Radial tires. The custom-fabricated SO-CAL Speed Shop chassis is fitted with Pete and Jake’s chrome rear ladder bars, leaf springs with custom leather wraps, a Magnum 5″ front drop tube axle, and SO-CAL hairpins and batwings. Steering is via a Vega-style Flaming River quick-ratio box, and braking is handled by a dual-circuit master cylinder feeding Ford rear drums and 11″ front discs concealed by finned drum shrouds.
