The power-operated black soft top features a plastic rear window and is stowed beneath a white top boot. The gold-colored 15″ Sabre wheels are mounted with Firestone Deluxe Champion wide-whitewall bias-ply tires. A matching spare wheel is mounted in the trunk. The Eldorado utilizes a coil-spring front suspension along with a live rear axle on semi-elliptical leaf springs. Braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
