This example is said to have been originally finished in seafoam green, but wore a repaint in red upon its acquisition by the seller’s father. The body was repainted in its current shade of cream with red pinstripes during the 1990s refurbishment carried out by Bud Hicks in Marshall, Michigan. During the project, the left fender and hood panel were modified to accommodate the addition of exhaust pipes with corrugated sheathing in the style of a supercharged model. Various imperfections in the finish are shown up close in the photo gallery below, as is a cracked area of the passenger-side window.
