This example was disassembled and stripped to bare fiberglass by Costa’s Auto Works in Carpinteria, California, after which the body was refinished in Poppy Red, which is said to be its original shade. Brightwork was also refurbished during the restoration, and rubber body and glass seals were replaced. Features include Lucas PL tripod headlights, a driver-side bullet-style side mirror, an external fuel-filler cap, and a pair of removable plexiglass side windows, the latter of which are accompanied by padded storage bags.
