This re-creation’s spaceframe is said to have been assembled using TIG welds dressed with gas welds to simulate the appearance of factory joints. Aluminum bodywork was reportedly hand-formed by Rod Jolley in Hampshire, United Kingdom, replicating the original Birdcage’s low-profile hoodline, protrusive fenders, and short front and rear overhangs. Features include a raked wraparound windshield, a hood bulge, covered headlights, and a roll hoop.
