Red-painted artillery-style wheels feature gold pinstripes as well as chrome hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with 6.00–16 Firestone wide-whitewall bias-ply tires. A spare wheel is mounted in a body-color cover out back. A coil-spring independent front suspension was introduced on Plymouth models for the 1934 model year, and stopping power is provided by hydraulic drums at all four corners. A replacement brake master cylinder was installed in 2023.
