Steel 14″ wheels wear chrome VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with 195/75 Coker Classic whitewall tires which are said to have been fitted in preparation for the sale. In October 2023, the spindles were rebuilt and flipped, the suspension was refreshed, the rear wheel cylinders were replaced, and a front disc brake kit from Type E Motorsports was installed along with lowered rear spring plates.
