Painted wire-spoke wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with 5.25/5.50–18 Denman bias-ply tires. Dual side-mount spares are stowed in the front fenders with body color covers topped with mirrors. The Series 50 rode on a 114″ wheelbase and featured semi-elliptical leaf springs at all four corners. Stopping power at all four wheels is provided by mechanical drums.
