Moto Metal 18″ wheels are mounted with 35×12.5″ Toyo Open Country tires, and a matching spare is mounted to the rear swing-away carrier. The truck rides on a lifted suspension with a front 1-3/8″ custom sway bar, reverse front shackles, front Bilstein shocks, Rancho adjustable rear shocks, polyurethane bushings, and revised front and rear leaf springs. Braking is handled by front drilled and slotted discs and rear drums, and replacement emergency brake cables and linkages were installed. The power steering pump was changed and a steering stabilizer was installed during the build.
