Black-painted 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 31×11.50″ Futura Dakota RVT tires, and a spare beneath a tan cover is housed on a carrier adjacent to the tailgate. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. The brakes were overhauled during the refurbishment, and the suspension bushings and the tie rods were replaced.
