Black-finished steel wheels wear chrome covers and are mounted with L78–15 Remington whitewall tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are stowed in the trunk. The Premiere rides on a 126″ wheelbase and features a coil-sprung independent front suspension and a live rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs. A set of overload springs were installed on the rear axle under previous ownership. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and four-wheel drum brakes. A replacement brake light switch was installed in January 2025, and the brake system was also bled at that time.
