Replacement 15” Dayton chrome wire wheels with two-eared knock-off spinners were added during the restoration and new Coker 185R15 redline tires were mounted. The four-wheel disc brakes were upgraded with SNG four-piston calipers up front, though the removed two-piston calipers are included in the sale. According to the seller, the front and rear independent suspension systems were both overhauled, and an adjustable torsion bar reaction plate was installed.
