The body was repainted during the refurbishment in Medium Red (516) with Ivory (620) on its upper surfaces and roof. The glass and trim pieces were removed prior to the work, and new metal was welded in to replace corroded areas. The bumpers were straightened and painted, and exterior brightwork was re-chromed or buffed. New rubber seals were installed for the doors and windows. The taillights, which are non-original items, were also rewired.
