Multi-piece 18″ AMG wheels from a SL600 were recently refinished and are wrapped in new Sumitomo HTR Z5 tires sized 245/40 up front and 285/35 in the rear. The 500E received four-wheel disc brakes also sourced from the 600SL roadster as well as a self-leveling suspension system. A brake fluid flush was carried out in May 2020, while the rear brake pads were replaced in October 2019.
