The blue soft top can be seen up close in the gallery and is stowed under a matching boot. The 15×6″ Dayton polished stainless steel wire wheels are mounted with 205/70 Michelin Defender tires. A matching spare wheel is mounted under the trunk floor. The car rides on four-wheel independent suspension with torsion bars up front and coil springs at the rear. Four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors were standard equipment. New suspension and braking components are said to have been installed during the refurbishment.
