The chrome wire wheels are mounted with radial wide whitewall tires that were reportedly installed in 2013. Matching spare wheels housed in body-color hard covers are located on both front fenders. The Series 1404 rode on a 139″ wheelbase and featured semi-elliptical leaf springs at all four corners as well as a Bijur chassis lubrication system. Stopping power is provided by mechanical drums at each wheel. The tan soft top features a glass rear window and can be seen raised in the gallery.
