White-finished 16″ steel wheels are mounted with 36″ Super Lug tires, and a full-size spare is mounted to the underbody. The truck rides on a lifted suspension with Skyjacker shocks, front leaf springs, an adjustable drag link, and rear Hellwig-style helper springs. The truck is equipped with a power steering unit from a later-model truck. Braking is provided by power-assisted drums at each corner, and the master cylinder and rear shoes and cylinders were replaced under current ownership.
