Description
The limited series "Tour de Corse" was produced in only 50 units for the French market following the victory in the 1987 World Rally Championship of the same name. Based on an M3 Evolution I, it is recognizable by the "Tour de Corse" inscriptions on the grille and the rear trunk. It also has some slight improvements such as a specific intake, an exhaust manifold in two parts as on the Evolution II and a non-catalyzed line.
Outside the car is in very good condition. The bodywork has recently benefited from a complete restoration (corrosion treatment, welding of healthy metal sheets, complete painting, invoice for more than 5.000€). The seller indicates that this BMW is therefore free of corrosion. The plastics and exterior seals are in good condition, as well as the headlights. The owner had a Sport Evolution flap installed, mirrors, hood, rear trunk, brake scoops and a Group A type fiber spoiler. There are also black Hella lights and white turn signals and repeaters.
